Almost 60 years after the arrival of the epic recorded dramatization Ben-Hur, Paramount Pictures and MGM's change is dashing into theaters. The primary trailer appeared Wednesday, and the activity looks more extreme than any other time in recent memory.

Like its antecedent — which, of course, is a change of the 1925 quiet film of the same name — 2016's Ben-Hur focuses on Judah Ben-Hur (played by Jack Huston) and depends on Lew Wallace's 1880 novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ. Initially a ruler, Ben-Hur is dishonestly blamed for treachery by his received sibling, Messala (Toby Kebbell), and afterward stripped of his title and constrained into servitude. In the wake of investing years adrift, Ben-Hur survives a merciless fight and is at last ready to return home. There, he finds Messala's control and looks for equity for his family through the hazardous game of chariot hustling.
