Ben-Hur is an up and coming 2016 American historical epic action film directed by Timur Bekmambetov and written by Keith R. Clarke and John Ridley. It depends on the 1880 novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ by Lew Wallace and has been termed a "re-adaptation", "rethinking" and "new elucidation" of the novel. Earlier film adjustments of the book incorporate the 1925 and the 1959 movies of same name. The film stars Jack Huston, Morgan Freeman, Toby Kebbell, Nazanin Boniadi and Rodrigo Santoro. Primary photography started on February 2, 2015 in Rome, Italy and went on for around 6 months completing in August 2015. 

The film is booked to be releasing on August 19, 2016 in North America in 2D, 3D, RealD 3D and Digital 3D.

Ben-Hur Movie Storyline:

"BEN-HUR is the epic story of Judah Ben-Hur (Jack Huston), a ruler erroneously blamed for injustice by his received sibling Messala (Toby Kebbell), an officer in the Roman armed force. Stripped of his title, isolated from his family and the woman he adores (Nazanin Boniadi), Judah is constrained into slavery. After years at sea, Judah comes back to his country to look for requital, however an experience with Jesus (Rodrigo Santoro) drives him to the Crucifixion, where he finds absolution and discovers reclamation. In view of Lew Wallace's immortal novel, Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ."
